Description: How do you transition to analysis from another law enforcement position? In this episode, Rhea-Lyn Gerstenkorn shares how she went from a Police Service Specialist to a Crime Analyst to a Sr. Criminal Intelligence Analyst as well as the multiple training and tasks she did to prepare herself for the new positions. Rhea is currently the Chair of the IACA Ethics Committee; she gives us insights on what the committee does and what happens to ethic complaints. Rhea is active in her state's analyst association and to cultivate continuous networking and support for other analysts, she is starting a book club to help analysts stay sharp during these times. Rhea is currently the Sr. Criminal Intelligence Analyst at the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
